THE WATERFALL

When I was small,
And grass grew tall,
I wandered by the waterfall.
The stars shone bright,
As I tiptoed light,
Where birdies sang into the night.
What caught my eye?
What fluttered by,
As I sat down and heaved a sigh?
A droplet fell,
It cast it's spell,
And mirrored light into the dell.
I quickly glanced,
There fairies danced,
Even the tiny elfins pranced.
'Twas luck said I,
That I did spy,
A band of goblins marching by.
Around the bend,
They did decend,
Until they reached the rainbow's end.
When I was small,
And grass grew tall,
